What is the Callaway Elyte Ti fairway wood, and who is it for?
The Elyte Ti is the titanium-construction fairway in Callaway's current Elyte line. Titanium is less common in fairway woods than steel, and Callaway chose it here to build a lighter, faster head. Where a driver head is judged almost entirely on tee shots, a fairway wood has to work from the turf too.
It suits you if you want maximum speed from your fairway wood and like the idea of titanium construction in a club you hit off the deck.
Available here in 15°, 18°. It carries Callaway's adjustable hosel, so loft and lie can be set after the build.
Which loft should I pick?
This is the question fairway wood buyers get wrong most often, so it is worth answering properly:

15° (3 wood) — the longest of the set. Most useful off the tee on tight holes and on long par 5s from a clean lie.

18° (5 wood) — the most versatile loft, and the one many players get more use out of than a 3 wood. Easier to launch from the deck.
